Kimberly Rodriguez

Kimberly Rodriguez, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker #136501 (California)

Kimberly Rodriguez (She/Her) is a Spanish-speaking, first-generation Salvadoran American therapist who brings her whole self into her practice—including her cultural roots, personal values, and a deep respect for the strength passed down through generations.

At the core of Kim’s practice is a focus on deep individual healing. She guides clients through processing complex forms of trauma—including childhood adversity, military experience, motherhood-related trauma, relationship dynamics, and domestic violence. In her work with couples and families, she addresses grief, blended family dynamics, core communication and trust issues, and affair recovery. As a mother, Kim brings grounded empathy to maternal mental health, the demands of parenting in today’s world, and the specific dynamics of raising multiples.

Practicing from a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based perspective, Kimberly is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She doesn't see you as a problem to fix—she sees you as someone who already carries resilience, wisdom, and survival strategies. Together, you will explore how to process past wounds, blend the best of your cultural heritage with practical therapeutic tools, and foster lasting healing, balance, and growth.

Approach

Kim's approach is rooted in honoring one's origins. She believes our cultural background, family stories, and ancestral wisdom are powerful guides for navigating life’s challenges. Whether you are grappling with identity, family expectations, intergenerational trauma, or seeking to live more authentically while staying connected to your heritage, Kim creates a safe, inclusive space where every part of who you are is welcome. Kim is proud to serve as an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, honoring each person's journey.
